Patricia Román is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Loyola University since 2017. She got her PhD in Experimental Psychology and Behavioral Neuroscience from the University of Granada (Spain). After that, she has held research and teaching positions at the University Jaume I (Spain), Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences (Germany) and The Pennsylvania State University (USA).

Her research is focused on the role of executive functions in memory, language and decision making.
