Pedro Caldentey is Associate Professor of Applied Economics at Loyola University. Currently he serves at Head of the Economics Department. He is also affiliated researcher at the Fundación ETEA – Institute for Development.
For almost two decades, he has been working on regionalism and development across Central American countries. He was main advisor for the Spanish Government in Central America Regional Development Cooperation Policy. Pedro serves as editor of the Journal of Management for Global Sustainability and as Chair of the European-Latin America section (2016-2018) of Latin American Studies Association (LASA).
