Manuel earned a degree in Psychopedagogy at the University of Granada. He in an Expert in Cooperative Learning (Cooperative Learning Institute of Minnesota) and in Thinking-Based Learning (Center for Teaching Thinking). He teaches at Loyola School of Education and Head Master of  María Auxiliadora Salesianos at Algeciras.

Manuel current research interest is related to using experimental approaches to study developmental learning. He is a key player of TeensLab. He is enrolled at the Loyola PhD program on Psychology under the supervision of Patricia Román and Pablo Brañas.
