Reflections on inequality and humanistic management

Abstract

Loyola Andalucía University (Spain), Ateneo de Manila University (Philippines), and Magis University (Madagascar) developed a comprehensive toolkit aimed at building capacity in Jesuit business schools to integrate the principles of the Inspirational Paradigm (IP) through the usage of economic experiments. The evidence has shown that the efficacy of using economic classroom experiments depends on how well they are prepared and how their implementation integrates into the lecture plan (Picault, 2019; Cartwright and Stepanova, 2012). However, this can be costly for faculty members. The toolkit developed in this project aims to offset their implementation cost by providing tools and materials to facilitate their usage for integrating the Jesuit business schools’ IP. This project focuses on the Mini-Dictator Game (MDG), a standardized experiment in the literature to analyze social preferences.
