Natalia is a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Economics at the Universitat de Barcelona and a member of the Barcelona Economic Analysis Team. Previously, she was the student lab manager of the Human Behavior Lab at Texas A&M University, one of largest biometric labs in the world. She completed her PhD in Agricultural Economics from Texas A&M University under the direction of Dr. Marco Palma. Her bachelor’s degree is in Economics and French, and she also has a Master’s degree in International Affairs from Texas A&M University. Natalia’s research interests are embedded in human behavior, specifically social preferences and how they affect other economic decisions. She is also interested in the underlying neurological mechanisms that affect decision-making.
