Lina M. Moros is an Associate Professor of Sustainability at the School of Management, Universidad de los Andes (Bogotá, Colombia). She has advised public institutions and multilateral organizations, and has served as a mentor for the World Resources Institute’s (WRI) Policy Accelerator for Restoration in Latin America. She holds a PhD in Environmental Sciences from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, an MSc in Social Policy Research from the London School of Economics, and both an MA in Public Policy and a BA in Management from Universidad de los Andes. Her research and teaching examine incentives for the conservation of strategic ecosystems, behavioral sciences for sustainability, and the Anthropocene. She teaches Ecosystem Services, Anthropocene and Behavioral Sciences, Behavioral Sciences for Sustainable Development, and Sustainability Lab. Her recent publications include “Key Issues in Carbon Markets and Lessons for Biodiversity Conservation and Financing” (2025) and “Early Climate Mitigation as a Social Dilemma” (2024). In 2022, she received the Global Biodesign Award for mus(t)go, a project inspired by sphagnum moss and Colombia’s high-mountain páramo ecosystems.
