César Mantilla is an Associate Professor (Profesor Titular) in the Economics Department at Universidad Loyola Andalucia. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Universidad de los Andes and he was a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the Institute for Advanced Study in Toulouse (IAST), and an Associate Professor at Universidad del Rosario (Colombia). He is interested in the design and adaptation of incentivized measurement paradigms from Experimental Economics to problems grounded in Environmental, Development and Health Economics that are related to different human interactions including cooperation, competition, and bargaining. His research has been published in the Journal of Public Economics, Journal of Health Economics, Journal of Development Economics, and Experimental Economics, among other scientific outlets.
Cesar moved back to Colombia – Universidad Javeriana – in July 2024. He coordinates MissionLab in Colombia.
